Western Australia

The Australia Indonesian Youth Australia Western Australia (AIYA WA) was founded in May 2012 to help connect young professionals throughout Western Australia with a network of like-minded individuals with an interest in Indonesia.

Operating autonomously under a national framework, we have established excellent working relationships with the Australian-Indonesian Business Council, Indonesia Institute Inc., Balai Bahasa Indonesia Perth, Indonesian Students Society (PPIA WA), Association of Indonesian Postgraduate Students and Scholars in Australia (AIPSSA)  and the Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, Perth. We offer a regular calendar of social and educational events designed to cater for the diverse interests of our membership.

The support we have received from academics, parliamentarians and members of the community in wake of the ‘Asian Century’ has been exceptional. We are continually striving to foster these relationships and expand our presence as a national body, throughout the Asia-Pacific region.

Stay up to date with our upcoming events by connecting with us on social media!
