ACT – Free Angklung and Jaipong Classes with PPIA ACT
Have you ever wanted to learn a traditional Indonesian instrument or dance? The Indonesian Student Association ACT are holding FREE Angklung (traditional Indonesian instrument) and Jaipong (traditional dance) classes at the Indonesian Embassy in Yarralumla every Saturday from March 2 – March 21 between 9-11am (4 FREE classes in total). All participants will get the chance to perform what they’ve learned as a group at the Harmony Day Festival as well as receive a certificate of participation. If that wasn’t already good enough, light refreshments will also be offered each class! This is a great opportunity to try something new, make new friends and gain a greater appreciation for Indonesian culture. Registration has been extended for our members, so if you would like to join please contact one of the 3 contact names on the poster below with the following information:
