  • The Indonesia Australia Partnership for Infrastructure (KIAT) program are seeking to hire a: Monitoring and Evaluation Manager, a Water Supply and Sanitation Specialist, a Senior International Adviser for Urban Water and Sanitation, and a Gender, Social Inclusion and Civil Society Engagement Strategic Advisor.   • The ASEAN Emerging Researchers Conference 2019 in Cambridge, England will be held on 6 July 2019, the theme for the ASEAN ERC 2019 is ‘Answers to Global Challenges – Sustainability’. Abstract submissions are due on 20 May 2019.
  • Call for student volunteers! University students in Yogyakarta are invited to participate in a two-week research project focusing on issues of disability and social inclusion in Indonesia, alongside students from the University of Sydney.   • The ANU Indonesia Institute invites panel and paper proposals for the Indonesia Council Open Conference (ICOC), to be held on 19 – 21 November. Submissions are welcome from established scholars in all disciplines, as well as from postgraduate and graduate students and other experts to present their research. Submission deadline for papers and panel proposals is 1 June. Submit here!
  • SSEAC Research Conference is calling for papers. The conference will bring together expertise on Southeast Asia from University of Sydney postgraduates and the early career researchers community.   • Applications are now open for the ACICIS six-week Business Professional Practicum (BPP), running in Jakarta in January-February 2020. $3,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants are available to support eligible Australian undergraduate students. Applications close 1 July 2019.
  • The New Colombo Plan Scholarship Program provides opportunities for Australian undergraduate students to undertake semester-based study and internships or mentorships in 40 participating Indo-Pacific locations.
