Event on November 14, 2017

The NSW Chapter of the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association is pleased to invite you to our discussion panel on the military relationship between Australia and Indonesia on November 14th!

Join us as we delve into this unique dimension of the bilateral relationship and examine: its history, contemporary challenges, efforts to enhance cooperation and much more. We are lucky to be joined by Bhatara Ibnu Reza and Guy Boekenstein, who will discuss these issues and outline the current strategic importance of the Australia-Indonesia relationship.

After the panel discussion there will be a Q&A then networking with light refreshments.

– Bhatara Ibnu Reza: Senior Researcher for Imparsial, The Indonesian Human Rights Monitor & PhD Candidate at UNSW (Military Politics)
– Guy Boekenstein: Former International Policy Division Director for The Australian Department of Defence

The event is free and open to all. It will be a great opportunity for those interested in International Relations, Public Policy, Security/Strategic Studies and the Australia-Indonesia relationship. Please register your interest here as spaces are limited.
