Shaun is studying a Post-Grad Diploma of Asian Languages at Murdoch University and is currently based at Parahyangan Univeristy, Bandung. His journey in Indonesia began in 2016 when he undertook a one-year student exchange at the University of Gadjah Mada, Yogyakarta, as part of his undergraduate studies. At the beginning of 2018, Shaun undertook an internship at Rumah Energi, a NGO specialising in renewable energy located in Klaten, Central Java. He is passionate about the Australia-Indonesia relationship and believes AIYA can play an important role in strengthening their partnership.  Shaun is focused on expanding the Jawa Barat Chapter to engage more Indonesian and Australian Youth and inform them about opportunities related to the bilateral relationship.
