The first round of the Victorian Government’s Hamer Scholarships program is now open.

The program offers up to 50 scholarships to Australian citizens or permanent residents based in Victoria to take part in one to two semesters’ study at approved institutions in Indonesia, including the University of Indonesia in Jakarta, Universitas Gadjah Mada and UPI Bandung.

The scholarships, worth $10,000 each, can be used to cover transport, accomodation, living expenses, tuition and text books — amongst other things.

Applications are open until the 7th of April. For more information, visit the Department of State Development, Business and Innovation website.
