  • Canberra, 6 November – The ReelOzInd film festival is coming to Canberra, with a screening being held at ANU! Come along to watch some great short films made by creative Australians & Indonesians. Grab a ticket here!
  • Gold Coast, 11-13 November – Save the date for the AIBC Conference 2018: Partnering for Prosperity in a World of Change!   • Jakarta, 7 November – AIYA Jakarta are very excited to promote the ReelOzInd! pop-up short film festival event at Universitas Indonesia in the B.204 FEB UI Room at 2:00pm. This is a FREE event and everyone is welcome!

  • Melbourne, 5 November – Join Melbourne’s Indonesia Forum for a Public Lecture with Professor Richard Robison on The State of the Politics in Indonesia and the Prospects for 2019: A Comparative View, at the University of Melbourne from 5:15pm. Click here to register!
  • Melbourne, Wangaratta (VIC) & Canberra, November 2 – 7 – The Julian Banks Group features some of Australia’s finest musicians in a unique collaboration with Indonesian master percussionist Cepi Kusmiadi. Listen to a fusion of Modern Australian jazz with Indonesian traditional percussion as the group tours Victoria (Brunswick & Wangaratta shows) and Canberra.   • Melbourne, 2 & 9 December – The Welcome Dinner Project aims to connect newly-arrived migrants with established community members over a shared meal in someone’s home or a trusted community space. Take part in this awesome initiative by coming to their Community Welcome Lunch (max. 50 places) on 2 December or their Student Home Welcome Lunch on 9 December. Places are limited so register now!
  • Sydney, 7 November – AIYA NSW & SSEAC proudly presents its ReelOzInd 2018 Short Film Screening, from 6 – 8pm at the University of Sydney. Don’t forget to vote for your favourite film here! 
  • Yogyakarta, 6 November – Join the AIYA Yogyakarta team for their weekly game of futsal from 9pm! And what’s great is AIYA Futsal Prices have decreased for this month (10k for non members & 5k for members). So invite your friends and join in. Check out their Instagram page for more details.
