AIYA Jakarta adalah organisasi non-pemerintah yang dikelola oleh profesional muda Australia dan Indonesia dalam rangka memperkuat hubungan kedua negara.
Sebagai ibu kota Jakarta adalah pusat kegiatan bisnis, beragam etnis dan ras berkumpul di kota impian yang penuh janji ini. Jadi, AIYA tidak berpikir dua kali atas keputusannya untuk membuka sebuah bab di kota yang tidak pernah tidur pada tahun 2013. Perdagangan dua arah Australia dengan Indonesia bernilai $ 14,6 miliar pada tahun 2012, dan karena ekonomi Indonesia terus berkembang pesat, akan ada kesempatan bagi banyak bisnis Australia untuk mendapatkan keuntungan dari menempa hubungan yang lebih kuat dengan rekan mereka.

Citra Gantiaji – President
Citra currently works at the Australian Consortium for ‘In-Country’ Indonesian Studies (ACICIS), where she coordinates high-quality programs for Australian and other international students to study in Indonesia. Outside of work, Citra volunteers at the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) as the Jakarta Chapter President, and Alumni Officer of the Conference of Australian and Indonesian Youth (CAUSINDY). Her passion for Australia-Indonesia relationship has also motivated her to further her engagement with the ASEAN-Australia community. Recently, she was elected as a Board Director of the ASEAN-Australia Strategic Youth Partnership (AASYP). Citra loves spicy food and spends most of her free time exploring Indonesia’s best beaches.
Sekar Wibowo – Vice-President
Sekar is a Communication graduate majoring in Public Relations with passion in culture, education, tourism, and international relations. She has had the privilege of endeavouring multiple student leader and ambassador roles across organisational units while undertaking her undergraduate study. She is an outgoing and sociable person. She enjoys mingling in the crowd for networking, always excited for public speaking, MC-ing, and delivering presentations, and always keen to put her hands up to lead a team or volunteer for causes that are relevant with her values.
Minh Bui – Secretary
Minh is a final year student studying Economics and Indonesian Studies at the University of Sydney. He has been an active participant in the Australia-Indonesia space since 2018: serving as the Sports Officer for the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association (AIYA) and also as the Finance Coordinator for the National Australia Indonesia Language Awards (NAILA). Minh believes that an in-depth understanding of Indonesian language and culture are cornerstones for bilateral relations between Australia and Indonesia. Minh really loves eating Nasi Uduk, Martabak, Bun Bo Hue, and Pho!
Winny Faramuli – Treasurer
Over the past five years, Winny has been working with ACICIS, an education non-profit who facilitates Australian students to come and study in Indonesia, particularly in the field of international relations and agriculture. She is passionate in learning socioeconomic and policy reform issues, as well as cultures. Becoming a part of AIYA Jakarta, she hopes to connect to more people with great enthusiasm in fostering Australia-Indonesia relations. During her leisure time, she enjoys photography, stargazing, and playing guitar.
Raisha Sahib – Events Officer
Raisha is currently studying at Universitas Nasional, Jakarta, majoring in Political Science. She has a great passion to learn, as long as to eat and to travel. During the time being, she spent most of her time watching series, listening to music and learning languages -if not busy with homeworks. Raisha has joined AIYA since 2018, and to her, AIYA is more than just an organization, but a family.
Choirul Amin – Events Officer
Amin is currently working as a civil servant in the Ministry of Finance Republic of Indonesia. In addition to learning economics and international trade which are the fields he is currently working, Amin is very interested in socio-cultural things. He volunteered at several organizations such as Sobat Budaya Jakarta since 2016 – 2018. Holding various cultural events made him miss the atmosphere of being a volunteer. He is keen to continue his studies in Australia someday, and this motivates him to learn many things about Australia, such as cultures, relationships between countries, until finally he met AIYA Jakarta.
Meta Putri – Events Officer
Meta is a commerce graduate majoring in accounting with finance as her minor. She is passionate in doing sports, dance, cultural activity, as well as involving in community development activity. Since studying in Australia, Meta is really enthusiastic about the Australia-Indonesia relationship. During her studies, she became the President of Perhimpunan Pelajar Indonesia Australia (PPIA) Griffith University. She had been joining AIYA since 2018 as a General Committee for AIYA Queensland, then in 2020 she joined AIYA Jakarta as an Event Officer. In part with AIYA, Meta wants to support the young Australian and Indonesian in terms of self-development and the enrichment of knowledge.
Ria Adryani- Events Officer
Ria is currently working at a non-government organisation as a Social Worker. Her main activities include managing the shelter for the unaccompanied refugee/asylum-seeking children, which has been her long-term passion. She is also active in some other youth development activities; joining AIYA is one of them. Prior to joining AIYA Jakarta, she was the member of the Socio-Cultural Division of AIYA NSW in 2018-2019. She loves to just sit and do nothing at the park or beach and can never get enough bakso.
Iqbal Darmawan – Events Officer
Born in Blitar on 26th December 1994, Iqbal is the first kid in the family. He sees himself as a purpose-driven educator, communication practitioner, and social activist who strives to give meaning, impact, and positive development. With more than five years of professional work in the field of education and photography. He has been serving various international private companies and public institutions in Indonesia, with sectors ranging from education, social activities, communication, photography, and ambassadorship for ASEAN. With a profound interest in youth empowerment and community development, he volunteers as teacher trainers and the founder of I-Rangers Indonesia during his free time. I-Rangers is a non-profit organization aiming to narrow down the disparity in education affecting students living in rural areas. His mission is to bring good quality education to those rural areas, develop the human resources, and harness the students’ potential. He is also the director and content creator for @mager.buster. A health campaign initiated by the Grand Finalist of The New L-Men of The Year 2020 aims to educate people about the harm of sedentary habits, inspire people to start doing an active lifestyle and share simple tips to stay healthy and productive every day.
Musilmin (Ryan) Satryanto – Events Officer
Ryan is currently a clinical rotation medical student at the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas YARSI, Jakarta. Being part of the AIYA Jakarta committee is a new journey for him to join an international organization and expand his networks outside Indonesia. He takes pleasure working in a community related to medicine, public health, social, education, and international networking. Besides, he is enthusiastically passionate about dance, especially hip hop. Moreover, he is also a professional choreographer in several dance events. Ryan loves traveling, and he would like to go to Australia someday!
Eonika Puspa – Communications Officer
Eonika is currently a 3rd year student majoring in Marketing Communication at Binus University. She is passionate in not only communication and campaign related activities but also in culture and humanities, quality of education, and environmental issues. Throughout her study, she has also been actively involved in volunteer programs, both internal and external campus, as she believes that small acts of kindness can make a great impact. She strives to broaden her connection, meeting and learning from new people in a more diverse environment, hence she signed herself up in the Australia-Indonesia Youth Association.
Nabillah Rabbani – Communications Officer
Nabillah or familiarly called Billa currently works as a communication service in an automotive company. Before moving to Jakarta, she used to work for an underprivileged children foundation in Lombok. Working closely with other volunteers from various NGOs has introduced her to AIYA. She always loves to befriend like-minded people from different backgrounds while developing herself-potentials. During her spare time, she enjoys traveling and cooks new vegetarian recipes.
Zahra Anindya – Communications Officer
Zahra is a final year student majoring in International Relations at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta. During her study, Zahra has been actively involved in volunteering programs such as AIESEC and TEDx. She is very passionate about learning about different cultures, tourism, quality of education, the importance of the environment as well as mental health. She is also keen to continue her study in Australia and has always been interested in the relationship between Indonesia and Australia. Zahra believes that every person on this earth comes with a purpose and hers is to help others and make the best life out of everything. Zahra enjoys arts, reading, spending time in nature and city lights.
