Richard has just completed his Bachelor of Education in English Education at the University of Nusa Cendana in Kupang. He is now working at Smart Learning Centre Kupang where he teaches TOEFL and General English classes. Richard’s interest to foster the Australia-Indonesia relationship started in 2014 when he became UniBRIDGE Project participant and he has become one of the Indonesia coordinators ever since. He has also taken part in the annual BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing) Program for Australian students in his university for 4 years in a row since 2014 and as a volunteer for a variety of youth-led communities in Kupang. In 2015-16, he was one of the selected goodwill ambassadors for Australia Indonesia Youth Exchange Program (AIYEP) held by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Indonesia and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).

Disty is AIYA National’s Director of Communications. Loves kopi Makassar, tempe, and angkot stickers.
