Samantha graduated from The University of Sydney, with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Indonesian Studies and Geography. She started studying Indonesian in high school, mostly because she really liked her teacher and classes were a lot of fun. Little did she know it would ignite a deep love for the country, its diverse cultures and people. In 2017, she was fortunate enough to undertake a six-month Geography Immersion Program at The University of Indonesia. She extended her stay to undertake internships at ASEAN Foundation and ANGIN (Angel Investment Network Indonesia), where she gained invaluable work experience and life-long friendships. Samantha enjoys being a part of a community of young people who are also passionate about Australia-Indonesia relations and hopes to help facilitate a stronger cross-cultural understanding between our countries. She is happiest when seeing live music, going on sunset walks, and eating good food.
