Sophie is a Law/Asia Pacific Studies graduate from the Australian National University. She studied and interned for over 18 months in Indonesia under the New Colombo Plan Scholarship and ACICIS programs, where her study focused on Indonesian law and language. Sophie is now working as a Judge’s Associate at the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory.
Throughout her involvement in AIYA, Sophie has served as Operations Officer (Indonesia) and the ACT Chapter President. Sophie is passionate about promoting the Australia-Indonesia relationship, particularly through the avenue of ‘food diplomacy’ which she believes is best strengthened while sharing martabak manis.
